Selection Process

Preliminary Examination
Same as UPSC CSE Prelims — GS Paper I and CSAT. Shared screening stage.

IFS Main Examination
General English and General Knowledge (qualifying), plus two optional subjects (4 papers total). 1400 marks.
3
Personality Test
300 marks. Conducted at UPSC Bhavan.
